Moonlight Ballad

You obviously put a lot of work into this. The costuming is very lavish, and the background is really well done too. You also drew both of the people very nicely, and the coloring has good subtle differentiation of hue. The lighting was also well done, but the thing I really love best about this artwork is how the gentleman is looking at the lady as though she were the manifestation of all the beauty that could be found in the radiant sun, the shining moon, and every twinkling star in the heavens... And she's just looking up at something random like:"Oh. I don't remember that chandelier being there before."

It's not often I come across an artwork that can depict one character's sincere affection, and another's cluelessness about it so effectively. This is a very detailed and well done work. Exceptional piece!
